Link or Chain?

Ci sono voluti due mesi e diverse e-mail perché riuscissi ad ottenere che il mio account di Linkedin venisse chiuso. Non amo i social network, uso solo Last.fm, ma quando ho realizzato che diverse persone mi cercavano sul mio account (ormai abbandonato) di Linkedin che avevo aperto nel 2000 spronato da Jep, ho pensato che sarebbe stato meglio chiuderlo. L’operazione è stata tutt’altro che semplice. Ecco l’ultima mail che ho scritto a Linkedin per ottenere, finalmente, quello che volevo.
To whom that might concern,
I am very, very disappointed to find out that, despite my numerous e-mails and after more than two months since my first request to dismiss it, my Linkedin account is still visible. I am really sorry to write this, but if my account is not going to be removed immediately I’ll have to use every legal mean in my possess against this illigal violation of my privacy.

Questo comportamento (che non ha solo Linkedin) è insopportabile… io anche per farmi togliere ci avevo messo 3 emails. YUCK FOU LINKEDIN!
