UNPLUGGED ITALY, curated by Prof. Gennaro Postiglione and edited by LetteraVentidue is now available! The book originates from the exhibition and the lectures organized at the AHO last year and features the bastard store by studiometrico.

For the second time in a row the bastard store takes first place at the italian Vans Shop Riot, held at the Jurassic Skatepark in Cesena for this edition.

Besides a 1000 euros cash prize Igor Fardin, Daniele Galli and Marco Lambertucci win tickets and accomodation for entering the european final of the Battle of the Shops.

Here below the customized shades by Olimpia Zagnoli, Scarful and Cento Canesio for the Art Shade Expo at bastard store.

Olimpia brings her colorful universe, overpainting every corner of her BPM shade, including lenses.

Scarful worked on the surface, drilling and digging a pair of Detroit with a Dremel and other sharp tools.

Cento Canesio gave birth to a bicolor version of the Hardknox, applying his iconography on it through a thin black marker on gray spraypaint.

On Thursday June 10th, 6pm to 9pm, Electric presents Art Shade Expo at the bastard store in Milano.

Pick three artists, give’em a pair of Electric shades each and wait for their own custumize version.

The artists we picked for the italian edition are Olimpia Zagnoli, Scarful and Cento Canesio.

During the Résumé photo exhibit opening party, the Cliché team spent a good fun afternoon sessioning the bastard bowl.

Supposedly a Cliché demo, it soon turned into a friendly jam session with Daniel Cardone, Charles Collet, Giò Grazzani, Ricardo Fonseca, Ivan Federico, Flo Mirtain, Marco Lambertucci e Sammy Winter.

We made this video for the Zamoc show at the bastard store. Here he explains why the title La Nebbia – italian word for The Fog -

The painting that he and his friend Luca Lattuga left on the wall of the bookcase get our respect!

For the Cliché Résumé Show, that opens on Friday April 16 at 6:00PM, the  bastard store will exceptionally open the whole space to the public.

Some time ago the producer of VBS TV Chris Gross came visit us, as he was collecting material to make a documentary on the history of skateboarding in Europe, and for the Italian chapter has asked us, among others, for some help.

Thanks to the support of Stefano Pomogranato and Vans Italy finally we can see all 5 episodes that narrate a part of our history, a part because clearly when the whole movement started, there were not only Milan and Rome, there was Turin with the Nelzi brothers, Zampa and Pantaleoni, Genoa with the Contati brothers, there was Verona with Ugolini and Tabacchi …
In these five episodes, very well done, we’re taken on a journey through the history and evolution of skateboarding in Italy from the origins to present times; from the first ollies to the golden years of Giorgio Zattoni, all the way to the bastard bowl, going through Milano Centrale.

In the first two episodes Papik Rossi, Ale Martoriati, Alessandro Gargiulo and Mirai Pulvirenti talk about Roma… Unmissable Mirai on the psycological bump.

The third episode is about the beginnings of the professional career of Giorgio Zattoni. Story told by Giorgio himself with a little bit of melancholy.

Blast Distribution present Cliché Résumé: 320 pages of european skateboarding, with a photo exhibit at bastard store, via Scipio Slataper 19, Milano.

The book, written by Mackenzie Eisenhour and published by Ginko Press, is the result of the wise art direction of ill-Studio in Paris.

It will open up on Friday April 16, at 6,00 PM, Jeremie Daclin, Flo Mirtain, Ricardo Fonseca, JB Gillet, Javier Mendizabal e Charles Collet will be attending for the occasion, they will skate the bastard bowl, besides signing books and decks.
