Here’s the report of a nice weekend visit to Lupi, a.k.a. Raúl Lupiáñez Martinez, spent between Girona and Barcellona. Besides el Guapo de Girona i was accompanied by Andreo Lopes, Marcin Solecki (R.I.P.) and Dare, filmer and Lupi’s roommate in Barcy. Enjoy!

Very good news from this august! Two brand new Lazy Riders just arrived on this planet. I’m talking about Mattia Molnar’s daughter and Marco Lambertucci’s son.

Skateboard Magazine #70 pubblished a double itw to Daniele Galli e Andreo Lopes.

Andreo and Danny are long time friends, they met through skateboarding and they shared a couplet of things like trips, contests, fliming sessions, tricks and bails.

As usual the Street Survival, association that manages the Habitat Skatepark in Arezzo, has held a nice contest.

The park got completely renewed for the occasion with particular care for the street area.

The event was a best trick contest, dividing the competition in 3 rounds, corresponding with the 3 areas of the park. The jackpot of euros 1500 was supposed to be split on 3 best tricks with a price of 500 each. The level of the tricks put the judges in a tough spot, making them change their minds for 6 prizes instead.

Ale Cesario and Adam Walker win in the first area, Cristian Sirica Boccia and Federico Ghigo Borchi win in the second area.

The third area, the most aggressive one, sees Leonardo Tonioli and Marco Lambertucci as winners. Lambertucci seems to be on fire, basically winning a contest every other week. Keep up the good work Bauli!

For the second time in a row the bastard store takes first place at the italian Vans Shop Riot, held at the Jurassic Skatepark in Cesena for this edition.

Besides a 1000 euros cash prize Igor Fardin, Daniele Galli and Marco Lambertucci win tickets and accomodation for entering the european final of the Battle of the Shops.

The Burn Skate Battle has started, this week with the Vans team.

Three days around Tuscany with Nicola Giordano, Simone Verona, Federico Borchi and mistery guests Marco Giordano and Fabrizio Iron P Venosa, behind the restless lens of Giuliano Bearducci.

Skateon publishes a daily report every night, in which you can see the challenges and the guys that think them up, like Gros.

The cover of this beautiful issue of PURE Skateboarding and eight pages inside are dedicated to Marcin Solecki.

Other than the Issuu version, browsable online, you can download the pdf file [7,2 MB] and at bastard store - and 249 other stores in Italy – some original copies are available… I mean printed, on paper.

Last Saturday, May 29th, a Memorial skatejam was held at the Cinecittà Skatepark in Rome to say goodbye to our friend Marcin Solecki, prematurely departed on May 14th, 2010.

The event wants to be annual, and i really hope it does make it every year, and that the participation will be massive and fervent as it was for this first edition.

It’s been a good day, a success, an occasion to meet old friends and find out new ones, cheering each other up. Skateboarding has always had a social cohesive factor in the lives of many of us, and so it was for Marcin. I was moved to see people i wasn’t even expecting to be there, and i was moved by the awesome murale that the Black Hand, his crew, dedicated to him at the skatepark entrance. Marcin was a true friend and an inspiration to me, and i think he was to many of the people that were there Saturday.

A big thank you to everybody that attended the jam.
