On saturday March, 6th from 6:00 PM at bastard store starts La Nebbia, first personal exhibition of Luca Zamoc, the talented monochrome artist from Modena.

About twenty original “ink on paper” pieces.

It will be possible to buy Zamoc’s works during the show that will stay on until saturday March, 13th.

If someone asked me to describe Tobias Scherlin, I’d probably say that he’s a party animal capable of coming back from the deads after the craziest party for jumping right on the big structres of the Kinglaurin snowpark.

Anyone who attended the last Subject Schlern edition cannot deny that I am speaking the truth.

He did every run on the Saturday contest, and he showed up at the night party in snowear, complete of snowboard boots, and totally drunk. Sunday morning after just a few hours of sleep he was ready to jump in the snowpark and won the 360 contest with a perfect FS 360 Doublegrab.

A hard weekend, a severe trial for everyone, riders and insiders with two days of contests, parties and local beverages.

Special thanks go to the Panettone Bros guys and Alex Berger for the hospitality.

Pirates, warriors and tatoos?

I’m not talkin’ about the latest episode of “Pirates of the Caribbean”; it’s simply what i had to deal with when i teleported myself to the Warriors booth at the Ispo in Munich. They were all dressed up like they had just shored from their galleon, and a couple good lookin’ pirate galz were offering free tatoos depicting the bat, historical Warriors logo.

Pirate tales apart, we did appreciate the Warriors FW 2010 collection, the new Myths series decks, of which i loved the Cyclope, artwork by Marcello Crescenzi, and a nice Warriors customized wallride, that hosted a fun best trick contest at the end of the miniramp sesh.

All of this in front of the Volcom miniramp (awesome! good job IOU Ramps), ripped by top rippers, among which Martino Cattaneo that did very well in a pit of wild beasts.

During 2009 ArchDaily turned into the most visited architecture website and this doesn’t surprise us at all, having seen the amount of contacts that their post published in May brought to the bastard store. ArchDaily chose to celebrate its successes of the last year with the Building Of  The Year 2009 award, voted from the readers.

Now the bastard store has made it into the finals by entering the Top 5 of the interiors section… and it’s huge considering the large number of projects in nomination, but we still need the final touch by all supporters provided with Facebook or Twitter.

Last night dj Gruff came visit us and, as he usually does because he is a nice guy, didn’t show up with empty hands. This time no overpriced bottle of sake, but his latest work: Sandro O.B.

15 tracks with a lot of featurings, along with Gruff there are in fact Antonio Tarantino, Clementino, CenZou, Sweden, Marco Lombardo, Esa, 2p, pije Gionson, Walter Buonanno aka Bonnot (Assalti Frontali), Biosci, Dre Love, Daniel Pulimeno , Sawer, Fear, Niko Md, Ekspo, Monom3 and Drug.

The lp is a journey through the places that have marked Gruff’s life, while lyrics are a genial mix between nonsense and pure poetry, and awesome scratches always in the right spot.
What I like about Gruff is that he really is genuine, he does his thing without bothering to wink at the market, he’s not the type of guy that sits there to study what kind of music and sounds one should use, but he’s rather the type that uses music to vent the necessity to fully express himself, he’s always been like that, and I think he always will be.

A real music Taliban, with thousands of contamination from all the places he has lived in but always hardcore, true to himself.
