Here’s the report of a nice weekend visit to Lupi, a.k.a. Raúl Lupiáñez Martinez, spent between Girona and Barcellona. Besides el Guapo de Girona i was accompanied by Andreo Lopes, Marcin Solecki (R.I.P.) and Dare, filmer and Lupi’s roommate in Barcy. Enjoy!

Last Saturday, May 29th, a Memorial skatejam was held at the Cinecittà Skatepark in Rome to say goodbye to our friend Marcin Solecki, prematurely departed on May 14th, 2010.

The event wants to be annual, and i really hope it does make it every year, and that the participation will be massive and fervent as it was for this first edition.

It’s been a good day, a success, an occasion to meet old friends and find out new ones, cheering each other up. Skateboarding has always had a social cohesive factor in the lives of many of us, and so it was for Marcin. I was moved to see people i wasn’t even expecting to be there, and i was moved by the awesome murale that the Black Hand, his crew, dedicated to him at the skatepark entrance. Marcin was a true friend and an inspiration to me, and i think he was to many of the people that were there Saturday.

A big thank you to everybody that attended the jam.

Fortyeight pages that offer an inside look on the things we did in the last six months and the people we collaborated with for making the clothes we’re wearing this winter, JAMMIN’ e ARTISTUFF in particular.

The roman seaside just charmed me somehow, it might be the good air and the abundance of pork sandwiches; there is a something out there that just gets me all relaxed. So I teamed up with Edo Paris and went back for more, visiting our rider Nikolai Danov, now fully recovered from his ankle injury and in full operative mode with the newborn “Combo Skateshop”.

Nessun Dorma - GroS dormitory in Bergamo

On Baco # 38 you can read about a tour we did some time ago… 12 pages With Lupi, Bauli, Marcin and Nikolai that show a different view of Bergamo, a city next to Milano with big potential. I like a lot the comments on the pics by Mirai, that guy is very funny. 

Marcin Solecki has been recruited for the bastard bowl.
