The video for Ultimamente, one of the most important songs on the new SUD SOUND SYSTEM LP, just came out.
This is the first single and it’s called Bisogno d’amore. The director of the video is Serafino Murri.

The eighth album of Sud Sound System, Ultimamente, just came out and it contains 16 tracks that talk about their land: Salento.

With this album the band has been exploring new sounds, going from reggae to hip hop, dancehall to calypso and inside you can enjoy notable featurings like Luciano, T.O.K., Voicemail and Miss Triniti, and the new voice from Salento, Ely. The CD is awesome, we just listened to it plenty while traveling from Milan to Rome for Marcin Memorial Day and everyone enjoyed it, even though Sud Sound System are best live where they always offer great shows.

Their tour started in mid-May and they’ll be around main Italian locations and European capitals throughout September.

The italian reggae band Sud Sound System came by our offices on thursday to personally invite us at their concert wich was held the same night at the PD party. They even rocked our gear on stage!

We took some pictures here in our offices and then again at the concert, check’em out… I realize that the equation is now crystal clear: Sud Sound System stands for Salento as much as Bob Marley stands for Jamaica. Go see for yourself next summer in Salento! Next dates Bologna and Rome!

Tonight in milano there is the concert for the promotion of the new LP “Dammene ancora” , and yesterday the Sud Sound System came to visit us. They are one of our favorite band, and Don Rico and co. just built a miniramp in their backyard. They love skateboarding and snowboarding, but their favourite is surfing. Anyway, tonight we’ll be there to surf their sound!
