A few days ago Lupi sent me this video as an appetizer to show me what he is doing in Spain.
With the Nomad team they are in fact going to start filming for the next video, a sort of tour that will involve all their riders and see them in the most famous spots in Spain and beyond.
As usual, the soundtrack of the video of Lupi rocks.
Winter in Italy, altough quite mellow, for us, spoiled italian skaters, is always a bit of a special season, cold and adverse weather conditions prevent the daily practice. That’s when somebody comes out with the idea of using somebody’s father’s warehouse, that can become a nice spot with everything you need for a fun sesh.
The spot is Andy’s warehouse in Pesaro and the footage is from young filmer Van Khokhlo. Good Job Sbrauser!
Here’s some nice powder footy and various impressions on Riding Pow in Eu, the new podcast episode of the Pirates Movie Production. It also features Lukas Goller who, besides riding for the Pirates also expressed his creativity in several graphic illustrations over the last few years.
It just come out the new song of our friends Nina Zilli with Giuliano Palma. This is just the first single. Music and lyrics are by Nina. The album, produced by Universal, will come out at the end of August and it will be a dope! Keep an eye on this girl, you will hear a lot about her!
The Smoke came out last year with on of the best reggae records I have in my collection… no cheating! You know what I’m talking about if ever had the chance to listen to Routes.
Waiting for a new record to hopefully come out soon, here an occasional live video of Wasn’t it You at Radio Popolare.
Diana Manfredi sent us this trailer of the docu that Pete Koff, San Francisco based filmmaker, is preparing: Supercharged - the life & times of Tim Brauch. We look forward to have it on the screen soon in Milano.
If you are new to this talking here some more info on what’s up with the Tim Brauch Memorial Fund end his noble (and useful too!) mission.
We all know Daniele Galli, skateboarding is his life and this is the result of what he’s gotten in the last year. Differently from his Hello, People! video part, when his footage used to be taken by random friends or his brother, this part is filmed by experienced filmers the likes of: Julien Castel, Diego Garcia, Fabio Liguori, Sergio Minnici, Federico Romanello, Andrea Zolin, Alejandro Marco, David Cahall, Yari Copt e Giovanni Rossi. And video editor Fabio Liguori put together the whole thing.
Locations besides of course Italy, are Brasil, USA, Switzerland and Greece.
Technicalities aside, Daniele put his soul in this project, a year of hard work and some serious world travelling. So that he could best describe to his audience what his skating is about.
Only street skating this time, some good bangers and some noteworthy build and trick, like the last pole jam.
Surfing the web, i just hit the blog of soma, i saw this video, I Campioni is the name, made by this company from Lausanne, Switzerland called 242 Skateboards and if you check in their website you can see that those guys have a lot of style… not only for the video.
