Il 7 novembre 2009 si terrà a Dallas una mostra evento che raccoglie circa 200 opere di artisti, illustratori e designer provenienti da tutto il mondo. Il ricavato della vendita dei pezzi verrà devoluto allo Scottish Rite Hospital for children di Dallas.

Bri Mendoza Crum, che cura questo evento e raccoglie il materiale degli artisti, mi ha contattato e chiesto una tavola per l’edizione di quest’anno.

The Art of Skateboarding is an annual event raising money for The Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Dallas. We have 200 skateboards that are designed by all different artists: painters, graphic designers, fashion designers, etc…and, they are all auctioned off. 20 of them will be live auction and the rest are silent auction. It will be an evening of cocktails, food, dj, and fun! The Captain and Casey show will be coming out to be our emcee’s for the evening and we are also bringing out the half-pipe for the guys to skate. Our honorary chairs are Al Coker and John Comer. Last year we raised $44,000 and this year our goal is $100,000. Tickets are only $25! Come out and have fun…and support a good cause!

E così ieri mattina la lelel board ha preso il volo per Dallas.
