On Wednesday January 11^th we had a big party in our headquarters to present the new bastard,  Electric,  Jart,  DVS, Lakai,  Matix and Makia Fall Winter 2012-13 collections and a brand new DealerZine, that represents a big step forward compared to the previous ones! During the party we also inaugurated the new binocle working space… unfortunately we couldn’t document the opening due to a generalized state of dumbness, partially related to an overall abuse of a freaking awesome unfiltered wine ;)

Kudos to Davide / MatteoV / Giuliano for the amazing new catalog, to Sonia & co. for the event organization, to MatteoM / Lukas Goller  for the new products and the high quality collabos they managed despite tight schedules and reorganized resources, to Bruno for the excellent music and to Nuccia / Anna / Max / Muriel for everything else.

It’s that time of the year again, when *** SALES *** pop up and this time at the bastard store we have them online too.

This Month Art For Business Magazine published a double interview with the title “Contemporary Organizations: an academic and an entrepreneur confront each other”, the academic is Alberto De Toni, dean of the Udine engineering faculty, while the entrepreneur is Claudio Bernardini, co-founder at bastard.

The two are first asked to answer the same questions – and there are significant analogies in what they say – and then to ask a question to each other… and here our mate goes on with his Spaghetti Organization theory.

On Thursday, September the 29^th from 2PM to 7PM at the bastard store upstairs space we will host the event fmt.day 03 titled outernet (internet is outside). New event format organized by cfmt that explores pioneering themes and aims to supplying managers the necessary tools to deal and cope with change, in an informal and cooperative context.

The Launch Party #30 took place on Wednesday July 20^th with the preview presentation of the bastard, Electric and JART Spring Summer 2012 collections.

As usual Fresco distribution topped it off with their selection of  Lakai and Makia products.

Now a well deserved vacation is awaiting us, except for the sales reps who will be on pre sales campaign until late September.

From now on the upstairs showroom space at the bastard store will be open almost everyday for pre-sales on appointment until Sept. 20^th.

There are a thousand reasons for having a Skateboarding tradeshow, and no reason for not making it …

After the summer experiment, The Last Call is hosted at the Lambretto Art Project in Milano for its first winter edition on february 12, 13, 14 2011.

The Last Call is the only skateboarding tradeshow created and managed by the main heads of the italian skateboard business, among which Max Bonassi.

Skateboarding, surprise contests, excellent video screenings and all the latest news from the industry.

We will be there with the product previews for bastard, Jart and Electric products, come visit our booth.

Fresco distribution contributed with a supply of the new excellent BSA beer and with a selection of products from Matix, Lakai, DVS, Makia and Brixton. The Iraola brothers, owners of JART, replied bringing in the mix a couple of good skaters to warm the bowl session and a Jamón ibérico that they personally sliced up for the attendees.

We have tried to behave but it was hard…
