The Art of Skateboarding

Bri Mendoza Crum, art director of the event, invited me a couple of months ago, and now a Lelel board is on its way to Dallas.
The Art of Skateboarding is an annual event raising money for The Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Dallas. We have 200 skateboards that are designed by all different artists: painters, graphic designers, fashion designers, etc…and, they are all auctioned off. 20 of them will be live auction and the rest are silent auction. It will be an evening of cocktails, food, dj, and fun! The Captain and Casey show will be coming out to be our emcee’s for the evening and we are also bringing out the half-pipe for the guys to skate. Our honorary chairs are Al Coker and John Comer. Last year we raised $44,000 and this year our goal is $100,000. Tickets are only $25! Come out and have fun…and support a good cause!
