The Positivity Camp is a non-profit snowboard camp located in the most exclusive resort in the Alps; it takes a good couple of hours of mountain path walking to reach it. But when you reach the camp you’ll be alone in a breathtaking location, Val Formazza, with a private skilift and a snowpark that gets shaped everyday.

Positivity 2010 report

by davidelp 10 June 2011

The Positivity, a non-profit snowboard camp located at an altitude of 3000 metres, takes place every summer in Val Formazza.
Lorenzo Lollo Barbieri and Ale Bianchetti, once back from the camp, couldn’t stop talking about how cool it was being there, in complete isolation from the outside world.
To see why check out the video by Maurino Castellani.

Positivity 2010

by davidelp 10 June 2011

An unbeatable remedy against the summer heat is taking off from the cities and hide for a week at Positivity Camp, in the enchanting Siedel glacier in Val Formazza, on the border between Italy and Switzerland.

It takes a good two hours walk to reach hut 3A, site of the camp. At Positivity you live the mountain life, you sleep in a mountain shelter dormitory to wake up in the morning enjoying the park with private skilift and you have Lollo Barbieri giving snowboard lessons. All of this without annoying lines for cablelines and whatnot, sweet…

By popular demand bastard sponsored afternoon snack comes back, on Saturday June 18th at hut 3A.

Positivity is a no profit camp and the proceeds mainly go to OMG, that manages the hut and invests in social activities in Italy and Latin America.
