The other day, me and my friend Nikki were talking about heavy metal movies, I suggest him to watch the movie of Anvil and he recommended me to watch Flight 666. It’s a Rockumentary about the last world tour, 23 concerts, 5 continents in 45 days! But is not an “on the road” kind of movie, they flew a board of the Ed force one, a Boeing 757 with the singer of the band Bruce Dickinson as a pilot… I can’t call it an “eco friendly tour”, over 50000 miles, but more frendly than the Pope for sure! The Maiden are playing around since 1975 and, in the last tour they brought their energy everywhere. It’s something really close to religion for some of the Iron Maiden fans. Yesterday, after 3 years of Court battles, Denmark’s Eastern High Court puts an end to 38 years of disagreement, which started in 1971 when a group of squatters took over an area of military barracks disused and transformed it into an autonomous alternative city inside Copenaghen, called Freetown Christiania. A social experiment from 1973 by a government decision.
The High Court decided that the area belongs to the state and now they will open it to external businesses. It seems that someone is interested in that, which now is very central, and attracts more than one million tourists a year.

The bastard bowl Shop Session (yes, it is a tongue-twister) is a day where the retailers from a a particular italian region come and visit our HQ along with some of their team riders. Last sunday a group of friends from Veneto showed up with our sales rep Checco Ugolini. Sloth from Vicenza, Secret Spot from Jesolo, Rider House from Padova, and Cubical from Thiene. They all came along with a few riders, and together with Daniele Galli, Amen, Andrea Vecchi and Max Bonassi threw down a good session. Here are some pics.
Do you remeber Anvil? they are a thrash metal band from Canada that in the middle 80’s rocks the world like Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax etc… But they never become “rock stars” like the other bands. The movie is about Steve “Lips” Kudlow and Robb Reiner, their friendship and the dream they will never give up.
