Jim Houser and bastard: Sanseb

by vecho 7 June 2012

We are glad to introduce to you the result of a collaboration with bastard and one of its favourite artists: the Sanseb t-shirt designed by Jim Houser.

We met Jim during “The Tip of the Sword”, his solo exhibition at Patricia Armocida’s gallery in Milan. Jim paid a visit to the bastard bowl and we fell in love with his work, intense, striking and colourful but calm at the same time.

Jim Houser is an american artist, skateboarder and musician grow up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the city where he currently resides. He is one of the founding artists of Space 1026 and one of the most prolific artists at Toy Machine skateboards. Houser’s works have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and Brazil. His work is included in the permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Harry up the t-shirt Sanseb is available online now in black or white.

Camo and Love

by vecho 7 June 2012

When we wear camo we feel strong and rebel like Rambo.

We love those orgies of form and color that make us camouflage, but exactly like Rambo we hate the horrors of war. This is the reason why when we designed our camo pattern, we included the stylized form of an origami dove, a symbol of peace and fraternity.

Camouflaged, but swollen with peace and love.

Heavy as a feather

by davidelp 7 June 2012

In the next few days you’ll probably be freezing your bones, as ice and snow are about to cover Italy. Thanks to a proper attire you’ll be able to resist the harsh weather and enjoy the winter.

All you need is the good ol’ goose down jacket. You may wonder why. It’s because goose feather, thanks to its volume, creates an air layer that holds and releases the natural warmth of your body.

Don’t you already have one? No problema, just ask the bastard store.

Que Viva goose feather, Que Viva winter!
