Today September 16th Ciclart grand opens at 12pm. It is one of the seven events the city of Milano is organizing for the European Week of Mobility.

The exhibition confirms the binomial art/bicycle with the transformation of a machine, already perfect, in art object that stimulates the creativity of many artists.
Along with the old customized bike UBM – Urban Bike Messengers, sponsor of the event will show the bikes that they use everyday for echo deliveries in the city of Milan.

The exhibition takes place in the cloister of Palazzo Isimbardi located in Via Viavaio, 1 Milano and it will stay open to public on Thursday, September 16th from 2pm to 6pm and from Friday 17th through Wednesday 22nd from 10am to 6pm.

Bang Art Magazine, that focuses on the international contemporary art scene, will host the opening event for ROMA. The Road to Contemporary Art on May 26th.
LRNZ, McLane and Mariachiara Di Giorgio will paint their style side by side with Marcello, while you may feel wilder by wearing one of the spectacular paper masks crafted by Nacho Gil.

So it’s art and more, with music and a fireworks show at a night time party you shouldn’t miss!

Who’s the man behind Rise Above? Marcello Crescenzi, profession graphic designer in Rome, tells about himself in this short video interview (only in italian, sorry english speakers) for the opening of his personal show at bastard store. Childhood passions and strong ideas as a background to the Rise Above project allowed him to be The Future of the Past. Let’s give a quick peep at his version.

On Tuesday October 27^th at 18,30, Oscuro Scrutare will grand open at Galleria Patricia Armocida in Milano. It will feature the works of Tommaso Gorla, Marco Klefisch, Scarful, Luca Barcellona, Dem, 108, Allegra Corbo, MP5 and a live experimental jazz performance with Gianluca Petrella and Cristiano Calcagnile.

Thursday October 29^th from 7:00 PM at bastard store starts The Future of the Past, personal exhibit of Rise Above (aka Marcello Crescenzi) with a review of works and personal trips between a rock past and a psychedelic future.

It will be possible to buy silkscreens, Rise Above’s t-shirts and the poster above, in limited and signed edition.
