by vecho 11 July 2013

Here we go with the new bastard outfit that will accompany Nicola Giordano during his long summer.

Every time Nicola come visit us he teach us a new word from the urban dictionary. Today’s word is Brenso.

BreNso = Breve ma Intenso ( short but intense)

Short but intense, as Nicola do stomping a perfect bs noseblunt after 10 minutes training.

Deep in snow…

by vecho 11 July 2013

Only if you’ve been deep in the snow up to the neck you can really understand the necessary features for good outerwear. That’s the reason why who designs the bastard outerwear line has to be a snowboarder first, like our friend/designer/snowboarder Lukas Goller. We believe that one can design a good product only if he’s able to test it himself. And we’ve been thinking so since nineteenninetyfour#.

Snow has come, get yourself in the snow up to the neck too with the jackets and pants from the new bastard snowear collection that will keep you dry and warm.

BRUXISMO: the art of Mattia Turco

by vecho 11 July 2013

Mattia Turco is a good friend of ours, a great skater and an all around good guy. He expresses himself through his painting and is known for his unique etching technique.

Join us on Wed, September 26th (6pm) at the bastard store for Mattia Turco’s first solo exhibition, BRUXISMO, and take a journey to the far side, guided by Mattia’s own insights into his mind’s eye.

During the exhibition, Open through Saturday September 29th, you can admire Mattia’s art work and, if you’re a skater boy, rip it up on the bastard bowl during the organized skate session.

Want to learn more about Mattia? Is him!

Jim Houser and bastard: Sanseb

by vecho 11 July 2013

We are glad to introduce to you the result of a collaboration with bastard and one of its favourite artists: the Sanseb t-shirt designed by Jim Houser.

We met Jim during “The Tip of the Sword”, his solo exhibition at Patricia Armocida’s gallery in Milan. Jim paid a visit to the bastard bowl and we fell in love with his work, intense, striking and colourful but calm at the same time.

Jim Houser is an american artist, skateboarder and musician grow up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the city where he currently resides. He is one of the founding artists of Space 1026 and one of the most prolific artists at Toy Machine skateboards. Houser’s works have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and Brazil. His work is included in the permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Harry up the t-shirt Sanseb is available online now in black or white.
