Last week at bastard store we received a visit from a group of young Chinese professionals who are attending the Master Course of Interior Design Management, organized by POLI.design and Lan Tao Culture.

This year, Electric is celebrating its 10th year and they will welcome us at ISPO in Munich to celebrate this event.
A good opportunity to discover the new collections among which 3 new goggle designs EG2.5, EG1K and EGB, the R.I.D.S. rider inspired series and the collaboration with Neff headwear, introduced for the first time at ISPO 2010.

Warriors Skateboards proudly announces its first presence at the ISPO tradeshow in Münich (Germany) from February 7th through February 10th, Hall A2 – Booth 348A.
You will find the Warriors just behind the MiniRamp, so that you will easily enjoy the runs of Igor Fardin, Kevin Blaser and Martino Cattaneo.
The warriors will have a little booth with many surprises… need anticipations? Pirate Bar with free drinks for all visitors, tatoo area with pirate girls ready to tatoo Warriors logos all over the place, and last but not least, Warriors WAR OF THE WALL contest, on the wallride build by IOU Ramps with whom we had a collabo out in FW 2009.
Besides these tasty entertainment sessions, Warriors will be presenting the skate series Myths, 5 artists for 5 decks inspired by mythological creatures, and the new bastard Jammin collection FW 2010, of which we offer a peep preview below.
Last wednesday at the COMVERT Hq we really tested the Milano showroom with the Launch Party #27, that showcased bastard and Electric products for Fall Winter 2010, dedicated to retailers, distributors, sales reps, collaborators and friends.
The showroom will be open everyday on appointment for sales, starting next week. The only missing ingredient is now a ‘Showroom Manager’, and for this purpose we’re examining the last curricula that get submitted to us through the job opportunity posted here (italian language required).
Raul Lupiañez Martinez, a.k.a. Lupi, friend and lazy rider, just got interviewed on the spanish newspaper El Paìs. I was there for a visit and to shoot some skating with him, and my friend Gianluca Battista, reporter for El Paìs, photographed our routine and proposed the article to the newspaper, that approved and sent a jounalist after Lupi.
The article tells us how Barcellona became the european mecca of skateboarding, the Hollywood of el patìn. Shows us how this industry brings money and tourism to the city of Gaudì, not only worn out ledges and noise.
I never liked the puppets show, even if i can say that the man who moves it, needs a lot of skills. I think is more about the stories, dragon, princess….With this new one it’s gonna be a pleasure to be a puppeteer, even if you don’t kill no one!
The toy is called omni tech figure and cost 19,95. Ryan Sheckler is the first of the pro series, split in street, vert and legend. Those ones gonna cost a little bit more and you can vote your favorite skater and put him on the team.
It took two months and several e-mails to dismiss my Linkedin account. I am not really into social networks, I just use Last.fm, that’s it. When I realized that people were still looking for me on an old Linkedin account that I had opened in 2000 on Jep advice and later abandoned, I decided to close it. But this hasn’t been easy at all. This is the e-mail that I had to write in the end to the Linkedin guys to achieve what I wanted.
To whom that might concern,
I am very, very disappointed to find out that, despite my numerous e-mails and after more than two months since my first request to dismiss it, my Linkedin account is still visible. I am really sorry to write this, but if my account is not going to be removed immediately I’ll have to use every legal mean in my possess against this illigal violation of my privacy.

Here some Rock ‘n Roll! I just hang the phone with Yari Copt, not only a good friend of mine, also one of the Lazy Riders, designer for bastard of the Warriors line and a f++kin rock star.
He just get back whit his band Those Furious Flames from Bulgaria were they played with Faith No More.
Now they are ready to shoot the new videoclip. So I put on this clip and i just want some Rock ‘n Roll.
14 mesi di occupazione e una settimana su un carro ponte per gli operai della Innse di Milano. Tutto per difendere il loro posto di lavoro, e ce l’hanno fatta. Sono passati dall’essere sotto sgombero (chiaramente ad agosto quando tutti sono belli tranquilli e in vacanza), ad avere di nuovo il loro posto di lavoro, si perchè l’imprenditore bresciano Attilio Camozzi ha rilevato l’azienda con gli operai. Gente che tiene così tanto al proprio posto di lavoro merita di lavorare. Per quanto mi riguarda i 4 operai che da una settimana erano sul carro ponte, sono gli eroi di quest’estate e spero che queste quattro persone abbiano delle famiglie con dei figli, cosicchè possano andare in giro a testa alta fieri dei loro padri.
