by giuli 30 July 2011

The Green Lantern Power Ring grants unimaginable powers, among which flying at lighting speed. However it requires a recharging time in order to keep working.
Likewise, Edo Paris is capable of flying at incredibile speeds in many Milano spots, like the Bumps of Quarto Oggiaro, then needing a few relaxing days provided with cold beers and mellower sessions along with his long time friends, as in this frontside ollie at the bastard bowl.

by giuli 30 July 2011

On Wednesday, May 18th we received the visit of the legendary Jamie Thomas, milestone in worldwide skateboarding, along with some of the Fallen riders with whom he was on a filming trip between UK, Switzerland, Italy and Croatia. With the occasion we had a chat with Jamie Thomas, who tells us in this video interview how to concile being a company man and a skateboarder at the same time, as well as the importance of having a skatepark in the office, very valued issue here at bastard too.

The boys took advantage of the bastard bowl to have a good skate session for stimulating the appetite for their first italian meal, to which we all participated with great pleasure thanks to California Sport’s owner Giampaolo’s invitation.

bastard store on the book italiArchitettura 4

by jep 30 July 2011

The book italiArchitettura (UTET edizioni) is part of a serie dedicated to italian architecture studios. This fourth volume deals with interiors and consists of more than threehundred pages, fourteen dedicated to the bastard store project of studiometrico.

Until now I think this is the best documentation ever published, with technical drawings and high quality details of the construction of the bastard bowl.

– Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi

You can buy the book online.
Watch out english readers as the book is written in italian only!
