Punkreas new album- Noblesse Oblige
by davidelp 24 February 2012The new Punkreas record is well worth a 4-years wait.
The name of the new album is Noblesse Oblige. Very topical subjects come along with top class collaborations such as Zulù (99 Posse lead voice) and the wind instrument section of the Bluebeaters.
The Punkreas will play old and new songs live on italian stages starting March 3rd when The Noblesse Oblige tour will start.
As they say, we proudly save them the trouble of walking around wearing only underwear.
Chiesa Iron War
by davidelp 24 February 2012Together with our friends Bomboclat and Vans we are organizing the “Chiesa Iron War”.

What?
We’ll be shredding all day on boxes, rails and whatever the Palù Park shapers will make slideable.
An old school contest, no money, no ranking, but a large prize in products to enjoy this crazy and cold winter.
Rails, pole jams and wallrides. Fifteen minutes to shred every structure and immediate prize-giving to follow.
Grill’Em All BBQ and a large quantity of the unmissable Grill’Em All t-shirt only for the strongest.

The art of bastard logo
by davidelp 24 February 2012As Jep designed the bastard logo in 1998, was he fantasizing about seeing it exposed in an art gallery one day?
It happened. Thanks to the artist Marta Dell’Angelo who painted a stitched guy wearing a vintage Spongy sweatshirt (circa 2001).
The painting, which is part of collezione Grassi, is exposed at Palazzo delle Stelline, located in Corso Magenta 71, Milan, until the end of 2012.
Marta‘s body of work is definitely worth watching, so you might as well pay a visit.
Heavy as a feather
by davidelp 24 February 2012In the next few days you’ll probably be freezing your bones, as ice and snow are about to cover Italy. Thanks to a proper attire you’ll be able to resist the harsh weather and enjoy the winter.
All you need is the good ol’ goose down jacket. You may wonder why. It’s because goose feather, thanks to its volume, creates an air layer that holds and releases the natural warmth of your body.
Don’t you already have one? No problema, just ask the bastard store.
Que Viva goose feather, Que Viva winter!
Nikolai in the house
by giuli 24 February 2012Nikolai Danov just decided to spend a week up here in Norhern Italy for attending the Launch Party #31 and to be able to survive the cold season by skating a little bit the bastard bowl. This is a glimpse of his latest session there.
Launch Party #31
by jep 24 February 2012On Wednesday January 11th we had a big party in our headquarters to present the new bastard, Electric, Jart, DVS, Lakai, Matix and Makia Fall Winter 2012-13 collections and a brand new DealerZine, that represents a big step forward compared to the previous ones! During the party we also inaugurated the new binocle working space… unfortunately we couldn’t document the opening due to a generalized state of dumbness, partially related to an overall abuse of a freaking awesome unfiltered wine ;)

Ride Fast
by davidelp 24 February 2012“We deliver a cleaner Milan”, is the motto of the folks at UBM, and we are proud to support the Urban Bike Messengers by designing the bastard UBM collection for them.
The Pawn gloves, for instance, were made following their requests and preferences, and if they’re good enough for them, who know it all too well about mileage on a bike, they’re certainly good enough for us.
Reflecting print on the knuckles, reinforced palm and comfy, anti-skid rubber for great grip on the handles, 100% neoprene fabric. Zero cold and tons of comfort.
And come on, let’s admit that riding around with Ride Fast printed on your knuckles actually does make you go faster… Read the rest of this entry »
