Warriors Skateboards – ISPO 2010

by davidelp 1 February 2010

Warriors Skateboards proudly announces its first presence at the ISPO tradeshow in Münich (Germany) from February 7th through February 10th, Hall A2 – Booth 348A.

You will find the Warriors just behind the MiniRamp, so that you will easily enjoy the runs of Igor Fardin, Kevin Blaser and Martino Cattaneo.

The warriors will have a little booth with many surprises… need anticipations? Pirate Bar with free drinks for all visitors, tatoo area with pirate girls ready to tatoo Warriors logos all over the place, and last but not least, Warriors WAR OF THE WALL contest, on the wallride build by IOU Ramps with whom we had a collabo out in FW 2009.

Besides these tasty entertainment sessions, Warriors will be presenting the skate series Myths, 5 artists for 5 decks inspired by mythological creatures, and the new bastard Jammin collection FW 2010, of which we offer a peep preview below.

To Rise Above for passion

by MAS™ 1 February 2010

Who’s the man behind Rise Above? Marcello Crescenzi, profession graphic designer in Rome, tells about himself in this short video interview (only in italian, sorry english speakers) for the opening of his personal show at bastard store. Childhood passions and strong ideas as a background to the Rise Above project allowed him to be The Future of the Past. Let’s give a quick peep at his version.

Last night we attended  the Blacknuss presentation, which is an awesome, handfinished, illustration book curated by Giorgio Di Salvo, one of the two minds behind VNGRD, with whom bastard actively collaborates.

You’ll find inside the works of Erik Brunetti, Le Messie, Scarful, TJ, Pane, Giorgio Di Salvo as well as Marco Klefish and Luca Barcellona (aka Bean One), this last one featured in the bastard Artistuff collection with a graphic on global warming.

If you want to get a copy the only way is writing directly to the curator: gds(at)giorgiodisalvo.com

Spaghetto Window Display

by giuli 1 February 2010

This nice window display has been spotted at the bastard store in via Slataper 19 in Milano during the last couple of days. It recalls the collaboration with Spaghetto Child, brand founded by the “Boss of Lambrate” Gianluca Mariani. This and other collabos are featured in the Bastard spring/summer 09 collection. Stay tuned!
