European Vacation

by giuli 27 October 2011

Dave Shamblin, filmer  from West Virginia, went to visit Lupi in Barcelona and they thought they might as well pay a visit to us in Milan.
Dave had met Lupi and the other Lazy Riders during their Florida trip a few years back.

Our friend, with the help of Jacopo Tardito, made this little video report of the vist that features Lupi and the streets of Milan and Barcelona.

Lupi y Los Campeones

by giuli 27 October 2011

A weekend in Barcelona is always the best way to escape the daily routine and test your liver’s functionality.

So, with the excuse on checking in with barcelonian lazy rider Raul Lupi Lupianez i decided to spend the weekend in Gaudì’s town..
What i hadn’t thought out was the Champion’s League finals with Lupi’s team in effect, the Barcelona FC…
So i had to give the boy  the saturday off to let him dedicate to the match and the celebration aftermath, but on Sunday he was already back in full skate mode.

So, is it really possible to have the two passions for soccer and skateboarding coexist?

Lupi’s Checkout on Skatefilms.tv

by giuli 27 October 2011

Sergio Arroyo and skatefilms.tv come out with this nice checkout for Raul Lupiañez, a.k.a. Lupi, in which el guapo de Girona gets interviewed and gives us a sample of his style with a montage of clips piled up while filming for the new Nomad video and for Ftc. If this is expendable material, i figure his videopart is going to be sick!

Enjoy the video!

Lupi on Slide Skatestore video

by GroS 27 October 2011

A few days ago Lupi sent me this video as an appetizer to show me what he is doing in Spain.
With the Nomad team they are in fact going to start filming for the next video, a sort of tour that will involve all their riders and see them in the most famous spots in Spain and beyond.
As usual, the soundtrack of the video of Lupi rocks.

Lupi on El Paìs newspaper (Spain)

by giuli 27 October 2011

Raul Lupiañez Martinez, a.k.a. Lupi, friend and lazy rider, just got interviewed on the spanish newspaper El Paìs. I was there for a visit and to shoot some skating with him, and my friend Gianluca Battista, reporter for El Paìs, photographed our routine and proposed the article to the newspaper, that approved and sent a jounalist after Lupi.

The article tells us how Barcellona became the european mecca of skateboarding, the Hollywood of el patìn. Shows us how this industry brings money and tourism to the city of Gaudì, not only worn out ledges and noise.
