Lukas on Entry #31

by GroS 15 January 2010

On Entry snowboard magazine #31 you can read a nice interview of Lukas Goller. For once, snowboarding gets left apart in order to explore his artistic attitude.

First of all Lukas is a free minded person who tries to express himself through ways he likes. In fact this three pages interview is more about his way of seeing art than about snowboarding.

Lukas collaborated to the designing of the outerwear for next winter introducing notable innovations. He’s also the author of the “Lubert” graphic, shown here below, for the next bastard collection, Fw 2010, in stores in September.

Vans Bash 09

by giuli 15 January 2010

The bastard store, well represented by Edo Paris, Daniele Galli and Marco Lambertucci, has just participated to the Vans Bash 09, the european final of the “Battle of the Shops”, held at the Zumiez skatepark in Kortrjik, Brussels.

Having won the Italy/Canton Ticino round, the lazy riders had direct access to the semifinal, but unfortunately did not go any further.

As expected, the level of the contest was top notch, and the win went to Hawaii Surf Shop from Paris, that had the craziest team, Bastien Salabanzi, Marc Haziza and Adrienne Boullart.

The Zumiez park is awesome and despite the cold that penetrated inside too, the session was shockingly amazing.

Enjoy the little gallery of videos and photos that i made, also thanks to the help of our friend Elliott Vanderbroeke, who was also our driver/fixer for the event, and found the time to also work at the shop and to take some pics. Nothern efficiency.

Lupi on El Paìs newspaper (Spain)

by giuli 15 January 2010

Raul Lupiañez Martinez, a.k.a. Lupi, friend and lazy rider, just got interviewed on the spanish newspaper El Paìs. I was there for a visit and to shoot some skating with him, and my friend Gianluca Battista, reporter for El Paìs, photographed our routine and proposed the article to the newspaper, that approved and sent a jounalist after Lupi.

The article tells us how Barcellona became the european mecca of skateboarding, the Hollywood of el patìn. Shows us how this industry brings money and tourism to the city of Gaudì, not only worn out ledges and noise.

Lukas Goller on Transworld Snowboarding

by davidelp 15 January 2010

This photograph portrays Lukas Goller under the chairlift in Val Senales, Italy.  When I looked at the picture for the first time I immediately fell in love for it. Evidently was appreciated as much overseas, to the point that it got featured on a double spread in the wallpaper section, Transworld Snowboarding December issue.

For those who might not know the photographer Matt Georges, he’s a French dude based in Grenoble, who usually brings an innovative perspective on action shots, always focusing on the environment rather than obsessing on the trick itself. Check his personal page on Onboard for a deeper look.

Lukas Goller, riding pow in Eu

Here’s some nice powder footy and various impressions on Riding Pow in Eu, the new podcast episode of the Pirates Movie Production. It also features Lukas Goller who, besides riding for the Pirates also expressed his creativity in several graphic illustrations over the last few years.

Bauli strikes again

by giuli 15 January 2010

bauli_MG_9659B

Marco Lambertucci, a.k.a.the Bauli, after working hard throughout springtime on “extraskate” projects, took his summer revenge, travelling around and killing it on his board as usual! He went to Belgium and The Netherlands with Nikolai Danov and Davy Van Laere to shoot photos and film, to the Grill’em All in Schnals (on the Alps) and to top it off he went out on a nice photo mission with me on the Riviera Romagnola, the area where he’s from.

And last Sunday he scored the best trick at the ninth edition of the Zucka vs. tutti, with his signature frontside kicklip shot down a quite gnarly staircase! The lazy rider went back to his hometown Riccione with a big smile on his face and a 250 euros cash prize. Bravo! Click here to watch the event report.

Something about Lukas

In the Art area of freestyle.ch it has just been published an interview with Lukas Goller. Starting 2009 he put his contribution to the bastard snowboard project.

The itw is in german language but you can see a selection of his works (the one above is for Milano Centrale skateboards)… I can’t understand what is written but I can follow the only link written and I remember Lukas often talks about this: Trailer Park Boys.

Daniele Galli – Working Class Hero

by giuli 15 January 2010

We all know Daniele Galli, skateboarding is his life and this is the result of what he’s gotten in the last year. Differently from his Hello, People! video part, when his footage used to be taken by random friends or his brother, this part is filmed by experienced filmers the likes of: Julien Castel, Diego Garcia, Fabio Liguori, Sergio Minnici, Federico Romanello, Andrea Zolin, Alejandro Marco, David Cahall, Yari Copt e Giovanni Rossi. And video editor Fabio Liguori put together the whole thing.

Locations besides of course Italy, are Brasil, USA, Switzerland and Greece.

Technicalities aside, Daniele put his soul in this project, a year of hard work and some serious world travelling. So that he could best describe to his audience what his skating is about.

Only street skating this time, some good bangers and some noteworthy build and trick, like the last pole jam.
