For the first time in Italy, the Organized Chaos art/photo exhibition will feature bit of Bryce Kanights’ organized effort and Chet Childress’ maximized chaos.

The exhibition gathers a selection of Bryce photos that made into skateboarding history and new artworks from Chet, and it will be served with a bastard bowl session with some special guests, including Cody Lockwood, Kevin Kowalski and local ripper Jacopo Carozzi.

Grand opening is on Saturday, January 10th at 6 pm with free tattoos and live silkscreening, thanks to Tattoo Agio and Print Fast Dry Young.

The exhibition will remain installed until Wednesday, January 14th and for the occasion the bastard store will open all its upstairs spaces to visitors with the following:

mornings 10:30 am to 1 pm / afternoons 3:30 pm to 8 pm

Inaugurated on the main bastard bowl wall last Friday on the occasion of the 20 years of bastard, the Last Supper (Ultima Cena) by Marc McKee can be viewed every day for all the visitors starting Thursday, November 13: at the opening of of our full space for the traditional winter Family Sale upstairs at the bastard store. Leonardo Da Vinci would be proud but we locals are truly honored!

The Last Supper is a collaborative effort between bastard, Marc McKee and Cliché Skateboards. The size of the print is 7.5 x 2.10 meters, depicting the most famous characters of Marc, those that marked a whole generation of skaters (including us) and that contributied to form a completely new approach to the contents of graphic communication in the early 90’s.

Here you can find the bastard snowboards built in Italy, the t-shirt and sweatshirt with the famous Jesus (Gabriel Rodriguez), the Cliché skateboards, the rare book WARNING: The Art of Marc McKee and 16 colors silkscreen art print on heavy paper in ultra-limited series of 40 pieces (half of which are reserved for pro skaters depicted in the graphic) coming from California this week …

FRIDAY 7 NOVEMBER bastard turns 20 years old and to celebrate we launch a party from 9PM at bastard store in via Scipio Slataper 19, Milano.

Starting from 6PM we host The Marc McKee Last Supper with the Cliché Skateboards team, the flash tattoos (specially hand drawn by McKee himself!) with the Tattoo Agio crew, the photo exhibition and zine launch of Shine My Nine, live silkscreening by Print Fast Dry Young and, of course, the bastard bowl skate session with all of our friends that will stop by.

The X Edition of the most awaited event of the year is here. From Sept. 11th through Sept 14th, we’ll be waiting for you with a 4 day session of music and skateboarding at their finest. Un Tranquillo Weekend da Paura will be held at the Bonassodromo di Usmate Velate (MB).

FRriday 12

• 9 PM – COLLE DER FORMENTO on the main stage and opening with LORD BEAN + DJ CRAIM and E-GREEN + DJ 2P

Saturday 13

• 3 PM – miniramp skate contest qualifications
• 6 PM – live concerts on the miniramp stage with 4 A WHILE and REMOVER
• 9 PM – live concerts with ROCK AND ROLL KAMIKAZE followed by THE BLUEBEATERS on the main stage

Sunday 14

• 3 PM – skate contest finals hosted by GroS and money prize of 3.000 euro

Marco is one of those skaters that wrote the the history of street skateboarding in Italy pushing  bastard since ever…  judging from this welcome video that has just been published for El Santo Skateboards, it seems he is not going to slow down now.  Thank Bauli!

When I think Marcin sometimes I just crank up, other times I catch myself getting a little nostalgic knowing that the other half of the laughter is gone with him.
Sunday, May 18th at Cinetown Skatepark in Cinecittà, Rome, Marcin’s friends gather to spend a nice day together and bring back a bit of those laughs that the Flying Polish used to bring to any session!
Rest in peace Marcin and thanks for the journey.

We finally have a printed map of the spots that are worth skating in Milan! You can find it bundled with SHARE Skateboarding Magazine issue #1 or you can pick it up directly at the bastard store if you swing by Milan for a weekend session.

We’re too lazy to give directions on how to reach spots every damn time. Hope this helps:)

SHARE skateboarding is about to celebrate its first year with the Carnival Jam, Saturday March 1st at 7 PM at bastard store.

For the occasion, the new videopart of resident local bowl ripper Jacopo Carozzi will be screened, and the issue n°1 of the SHARE magazine will be shared for free among partecipants. If you didn’t choose which mask to wear for the event, hurry up, as the bowl session that will follow is at least very promising…
