For the second time in a row the bastard store takes first place at the italian Vans Shop Riot, held at the Jurassic Skatepark in Cesena for this edition.
Besides a 1000 euros cash prize Igor Fardin, Daniele Galli and Marco Lambertucci win tickets and accomodation for entering the european final of the Battle of the Shops.
If you’d like to know who are the people that designed the Colander jacket, who’s behind the Riot artwork or what inspired the colors of the Tropical pasta collection, you can find these answers inside issue 26 of the bastard Catazine, codename Rolling Bastard, which is now available at bastard store.
Inside the stories of Warriors Skateboards, NotAWonderBoy, Luca Zamoc, Pink is Punk, Punkreas and Tropical Pasta, the people we collaborated with for making the clothes we’re wearing this summer, particularly for the JAMMIN’ and ARTISTUFF collections.
The bastard catazine is available at bastard store or you can check out the online version of bastard CataZine.
Daniele Galli is now a member of the Blast! Krew, riding for Almost. Check out his welcome video filmed and edited by Andreo Lopes.
Now there are two Lazy Riders riding for Blast!; Daniele joined Marco Lambertucci who is riding for Blind skateboards, also distributed by them. Watch him go out loud in the video report of the Blast meeting at the Seregno Skateplaza.
Blast! is also the italian distributor for Warriors Skateboards that realized the collaboration with the bastard Jammin’ Warriors clothing line.
The bastard store, well represented by Edo Paris, Daniele Galli and Marco Lambertucci, has just participated to the Vans Bash 09, the european final of the “Battle of the Shops”, held at the Zumiez skatepark in Kortrjik, Brussels.
Having won the Italy/Canton Ticino round, the lazy riders had direct access to the semifinal, but unfortunately did not go any further.
As expected, the level of the contest was top notch, and the win went to Hawaii Surf Shop from Paris, that had the craziest team, Bastien Salabanzi, Marc Haziza and Adrienne Boullart.
The Zumiez park is awesome and despite the cold that penetrated inside too, the session was shockingly amazing.
Enjoy the little gallery of videos and photos that i made, also thanks to the help of our friend Elliott Vanderbroeke, who was also our driver/fixer for the event, and found the time to also work at the shop and to take some pics. Nothern efficiency.

This is the Jep’s birthday video, shot by Andreo Lopes during a bastard bowl session with Daniele Galli. This is our way to celebrate our president birthday.
We all know Daniele Galli, skateboarding is his life and this is the result of what he’s gotten in the last year. Differently from his Hello, People! video part, when his footage used to be taken by random friends or his brother, this part is filmed by experienced filmers the likes of: Julien Castel, Diego Garcia, Fabio Liguori, Sergio Minnici, Federico Romanello, Andrea Zolin, Alejandro Marco, David Cahall, Yari Copt e Giovanni Rossi. And video editor Fabio Liguori put together the whole thing.
Locations besides of course Italy, are Brasil, USA, Switzerland and Greece.
Technicalities aside, Daniele put his soul in this project, a year of hard work and some serious world travelling. So that he could best describe to his audience what his skating is about.
Only street skating this time, some good bangers and some noteworthy build and trick, like the last pole jam.
The bastard bowl Shop Session (yes, it is a tongue-twister) is a day where the retailers from a a particular italian region come and visit our HQ along with some of their team riders. Last sunday a group of friends from Veneto showed up with our sales rep Checco Ugolini. Sloth from Vicenza, Secret Spot from Jesolo, Rider House from Padova, and Cubical from Thiene. They all came along with a few riders, and together with Daniele Galli, Amen, Andrea Vecchi and Max Bonassi threw down a good session. Here are some pics.
Yesterday the bastard store team composed by Daniele Galli, Edo Paris (bastard store manager/clerk) and Andreo Lopes (best trick of the day with a flip bs lipslide on the handrail) won it all at the Vans Shop Riot at Trinity skatepark in Milano.
The boys will fly in Bruxelles for the finals. Good job!
