Jacopo needs no intro. We just want to to say that for his new videopart he is paying homage to one of the most iconic skate plaza in the world: Stazione Centrale of Milano.🔥@pufftuffandskatestuff screening this Saturday June 2 – starts 6.30pm at bastard store with beer garden and bowl sesh

For the occasion a new screening setup in the foyer, beer garden with Muttnik and a classic bowl session with friends. Awesome.
If you’ve ever had the chance to visit the bastard store and climb up upstairs, where we run our offices, you’ve probably met Mattia Turco and checked out his studio with his latest works.
With the 3x3x3 project by Vans – a skate deck series of 3, designed by 3 skaters in collaboration with their 3 supporting skateshops – we’ve worked on a skate deck and on a special t-shirt to represent the synthesis of the expressive research of Mattia today. Read the rest of this entry »
On Friday, May 11 at bastard store starting 7pm, Riccardo Ricci with Home Made Video Production presents The Best of “GOOD ATTITUDE”: his latest video project which gathers the most important chapters in the sequel of rare videos that documented italian and european skateboarding history from 1997 to 2007.
Recently we re-converted the bastard store’s foyer into a legit ‘skateshop’. A skatewall consisting of larch wooden racks showcases 140 decks on sale.
These racks have been designed by our friends from the milanese architecture studio binocle and are made out of upcycled wood from our previous flooring, the racks are self-illuminating and can be dismantled and folded on the occasion, restoring the original entrances of the old cinema’s gallery.
Seems like it’s true that a good project never ends as the development is continuous.
p.s we are working on adding all the skate stuff to our online store, currently only a small part is visible online, come visit us in via Slataper 19 in Milano for the full set.
Saturday May 5 and Sunday 6 the bastard store opens its door for the Open House Milano 2018: a whole weekend dedicated to public and private buildings with a relevant footprint in architecture, supported by dedicated and volunteer guides.
Do you still want to learn how to skate the bowl with us?

We at the bastard store decided to launch Academy of Skateboarding‘s new Open Day for the Spring on Saturday, April 14 2018, open to everybody, upon registration.
Every time that Steve Van Doren stops by the bastard store, it’s a blast! On Sunday, February the 25th he arrived right for lunch with some long time friends.
As a digestive we skipped the ammazzacaffè and went straight to the bastard store for a lit session that we’ll never forget. Click on Chiole’s illustration for the raw footage put together by SHARE Skateboarding Mag.
We Are All Van Dorens.
